Canada to the women´s final
Team Canada, skipped by Colleen Jones, qualified today for the final of the World women´s
championship in Lausanne after a victory with 10-6 over Denmark. The Danes played well in
the first half of the game and had a lead of 5-2 after five ends. But the Canadians took
over the game completely and after a three-ender in the 9th end the game was more or less
over. Canada will play the winner of Sweden-Scotland in the final on Saturday night.
